Companies should anticipate, identify and understand their user’s needs in order to generate proactive and accurate solutions for them. Not only for greater efficiency but also to increase engagement of their users with the product or service.
Implementing good UX/UI practices is the best possible solution to guarantee success when redesigning or designing a new product from scratch. It’s an investment to grow the user base (and therefore, grow the business) of the product or service.
To get UX up and running there is no single path, there are different best practices and ways to start. Some of the main types of UX services offered can vary depending on the specific needs and objectives of each project:
- 1.User research: In order to design products and services that meet user needs effectively, we need first an understanding of user needs, behaviors, and preferences through techniques such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- 2.Interaction design: To ensure an intuitive and easy-to-use user experience, it is important to design the way users interact with a digital product or service such as the creation of navigation flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- 3.Visual design: To create an attractive and coherent interface, the visual appearance of a digital product or service is important, like the selection of colors, fonts, icons and other visual elements that form part of the design system.
- 4.Information architecture: For organizing and structuring the information of a digital product or service in a clear and accessible way for users, doing the information architecture involves creating sitemaps, flowcharts, and content tagging.
- 5.Prototyping: It involves the creation of interactive prototypes that allow designers and users to test and evaluate the functionality and usability of a product or service before its full development.
To summarize, companies must satisfy the needs of users and ensure an intuitive and easy-to-use user experience, with an attractive and coherent interface as well as organized and structured information, that in overall complies with functionality and usability standards.

In conclusion, there is no doubt that implementing UX/UI best practices in a project reduces considerable costs in the development of the product or service, because by developing a product based on the user’s needs right from the start, companies avoid repeated changes after the product's launch.
Another thing to have in mind, not investing in UX/UI causes Sales loss. A good UX design makes projects more profitable by improving sales and avoiding support costs. By offering a seamless and enjoyable experience, the product becomes more desirable, leading to increased sales and market share.
