On November 6th, the Centro de Convenciones Buenos Aires hosted Latin America’s leading event for AI-driven business transformation. AI in Latam 2025 brought together more than 3,500 leaders and innovators from over 15 industries, all united by a single purpose: to translate Artificial Intelligence into measurable business impact. CloudX played a central role as a sponsor, thought leader, and active contributor to the region’s AI First future.

Erik Davidsson, our Head of AI, led a workshop that demonstrated how AI can fundamentally transform the way organizations address urgent, complex challenges. Using a real-world scenario—preparing a proposal for an unfamiliar industry with minimal notice—he contrasted traditional problem-solving methods (manual research, long hours, and significant human effort) with today’s AI-powered approach.
The session showcased specialized AI agents such as Deep Research and NotebookLM, which automate in-depth investigation and personalize learning, delivering tailored reports and actionable insights rapidly. Erik highlighted the integration of advanced language models and Model Context Protocols (MCPs), which coordinate multiple applications directly from chat platforms to enable seamless, real-time solutions.
The key message: AI tools are evolving at an exponential pace. Many did not exist just months ago and are continuously being updated. What is impossible today will soon become standard. However, Erik cautioned against workslop (blind automation that appears productive but lacks real impact), and highlighted the importance of human oversight to ensure quality and business value.

Axel Abulafia, our Chief Business Officer, moderated a high-impact Q&A session with Silvia Tenazinha, General Director at Salesforce. Their discussion explored how executive responsibilities are evolving as AI agents become integral to decision-making.
Key themes included building trust in AI-driven processes, redefining leadership in the era of intelligent automation, and ensuring ethical, transparent, and sustainable AI adoption.
In the AI era, leadership must build trust and guide organizations through responsible, large-scale transformation. This session addressed the realities executives face as AI becomes central to business strategy. Attendees gained actionable guidance on establishing governance frameworks and aligning AI initiatives with core business values.

Outside the conference sessions, CloudX’s interactive stand became a hub for meaningful connections. Attendees participated in an engaging AI-powered activity that broke the ice and sparked conversations about the challenges and opportunities of deploying AI in complex business environments. The creativity of our R&D, UX/UI Design, and Marketing teams was on full display, reflecting the collaborative spirit we live and breathe at CloudX.

AI in Latam 2025 confirmed what forward-thinking organizations already recognize: AI is actively redefining how business is done. The event’s panels and workshops focused on adopting AI First strategies, generating new revenue streams and operational efficiencies, and scaling AI responsibly, supported by real-world case studies from Google, AWS, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, AMD, Meta, and other industry leaders.
Of particular note was the energy of the ecosystem itself: a collaborative environment where every conversation and shared coffee sparked new ideas, accelerating Latin America’s collective progress.
The message from AI in Latam 2025 is clear: the age of AI demands decisive action. The organizations that embrace the AI First mindset will stand ready to lead the transformation of their industries.
